Quality Assurance

In an effort to provide a top-quality pharmacy service, the management of UH Ostrava has decided to implement a quality management system conforming to ISO 9001:2000. The pharmacy was successfully certified after meeting the standard requirements. The certified quality monitoring system enables maintenance and further increases the quality of service provided. The credo of the University Hospital Ostrava is followed, i.e. full client satisfaction.

Quality Policy

The head pharmacist hereby announces the following quality policy within the implemented quality management system:

  • On an everyday basis, all employees of the pharmacy will enforce and develop the quality management system
  • Focus on client (patients, clinics) satisfaction
  • Organize continuous education and awareness to increase employees’ qualifications
  • Improve working environment

All pharmacy employees are responsible for consistently meeting the quality policy. The managerial staff enforces the quality policy in its decisions and it sets an example for other employees. All the pharmacy’s activities have to be carried out in agreement with the requirements of the quality management system.
